Acceptance of These Terms

These Website Terms of Use form a binding agreement between you and JDC Consulting Group LLC, doing business as TaxBowl ("TaxBowl," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing, browsing, submitting information through, or otherwise using this website, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use this website.

We may update these Terms at any time by posting revised Terms on this page. Your continued use of the website after an update means you accept the updated Terms.

Website Only

This website is provided for general informational, marketing, educational, and intake purposes only. Website content is not legal, tax, accounting, investment, payroll, human resources, or other professional advice. It is not a substitute for advice based on your specific facts, records, filings, deadlines, contracts, regulatory status, or jurisdiction.

No professional, fiduciary, accountant-client, tax advisor-client, consultant-client, or other service relationship is created merely by using the website, submitting a form, downloading content, emailing us, or scheduling a conversation. Any paid services are governed only by a separate written agreement signed or accepted by TaxBowl.

Do not rely on website content as a final decision-making basis for tax filings, accounting treatment, financing, compliance, employment, legal, or business decisions.

Eligibility and Authorized Use

You may use this website only if you are at least 18 years old, can form a binding contract, and use the website for lawful purposes. If you use the website on behalf of a company or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

You are responsible for your own device, network, software, browser, internet access, and compliance with laws that apply to you.

Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to, directly or indirectly:

  • Use the website for unlawful, deceptive, abusive, harassing, fraudulent, competitive intelligence, or harmful purposes.
  • Scrape, crawl, harvest, index, copy, train models on, monitor, or extract website content or data except as expressly allowed by our written permission or by public search engines following our robots instructions.
  • Reverse engineer, probe, scan, test, bypass, disable, or interfere with website security, access controls, rate limits, tracking controls, forms, or infrastructure.
  • Submit false, misleading, confidential, privileged, infringing, malicious, or unauthorized information.
  • Use bots, automated tools, scripts, data mining systems, AI agents, or bulk request methods without our prior written permission.
  • Impersonate TaxBowl, misrepresent an affiliation with us, frame the website, deep link in a misleading way, or use our brand assets without permission.
  • Introduce malware, spam, excessive traffic, denial-of-service activity, or any code that could disrupt the website.

We may block, throttle, suspend, investigate, report, or take legal action against any activity we believe violates these Terms or threatens our business, users, systems, or rights.

Intellectual Property

The website, including text, designs, graphics, images, layouts, trade names, service names, trademarks, logos, videos, code, resources, calculators, workflows, and other materials, is owned by TaxBowl, our licensors, or our providers and is protected by intellectual property and unfair competition laws.

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and view the website for your internal business evaluation only. No rights are granted by implication. You may not copy, sell, license, modify, publish, distribute, scrape, mirror, frame, or create derivative works from the website without our prior written permission.

Submitted Information

If you submit information through the website, you represent that the information is accurate, authorized, and not confidential information you are prohibited from sharing. You grant TaxBowl the right to use submitted information to respond to you, evaluate potential services, operate the website, improve our business, protect our rights, and as otherwise described in our Privacy Policy.

Do not submit sensitive personal information, protected health information, full tax returns, bank credentials, payroll credentials, legal privileged material, social security numbers, or other highly sensitive records through general website forms unless we expressly request them through an approved secure process.

Text Messaging Terms

If you separately opt in to receive text messages from TaxBowl, you authorize JDC Consulting Group LLC DBA TaxBowl to send SMS, MMS, or other text messages to the mobile number you provide. Messages may include responses to your inquiry, appointment reminders, scheduling messages, service updates, account or support messages, and limited marketing messages related to TaxBowl services.

You must be 18 years of age or older to use this SMS service.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You are responsible for keeping your mobile number current and for any charges from your wireless carrier.

You may opt out at any time by replying STOP, CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, or another supported opt-out keyword. After you opt out, we may send a confirmation message and then stop sending further non-exempt text messages to that number unless you opt in again. For help, reply HELP or contact info@taxbowl.com.

By opting in, you represent that you are the subscriber or customary user of the mobile number provided and that you are authorized to consent to receive messages at that number.

No Guarantees

Website content may include examples, estimates, case studies, performance statements, tax concepts, financial concepts, calculators, resource materials, or third-party information. These materials are illustrative only and may not apply to your business. We do not guarantee savings, credits, refunds, outcomes, audit results, funding results, compliance results, profitability, valuation, runway, or any other business or tax result.

Any decision you make based on website content is at your own risk. You should consult qualified professionals who understand your specific circumstances before acting.

Third-Party Sites and Tools

The website may link to or integrate with third-party websites, platforms, tools, content, or services. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party materials, policies, security, availability, accuracy, or practices. Your use of third-party resources is at your own risk and may be governed by separate terms.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and all website content are provided "as is," "as available," and without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. We disclaim all warranties, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, security, and error-free operation.

We do not warrant that the website will be uninterrupted, secure, virus-free, current, or free from defects, or that any issue will be corrected.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TaxBowl, JDC Consulting Group LLC, and their owners, members, managers, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, vendors, and agents will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, or enhanced damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, lost data, loss of goodwill, business interruption, filing penalties, missed deadlines, or reputational harm arising from or related to the website.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims arising from or related to the website will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100) or the minimum amount required by applicable law, whichever is greater.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless TaxBowl, JDC Consulting Group LLC, and their owners, members, managers, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, vendors, and agents from and against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from or related to your use of the website, your submitted information, your violation of these Terms, your violation of law, or your infringement of any rights of another person or entity.

Dispute Resolution

These Terms and any dispute relating to the website are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of laws rules. Before bringing a claim, you agree to email us at info@taxbowl.com and provide a reasonable description of the dispute so the parties can attempt to resolve it informally.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to the website or these Terms will be resolved by confidential, binding arbitration on an individual basis in New York County, New York, administered by the American Arbitration Association under its applicable rules. You and TaxBowl waive any right to a jury trial and waive any right to participate in a class, collective, consolidated, private attorney general, or representative action.

Either party may seek temporary or preliminary injunctive relief in court to protect intellectual property, confidential information, security, or misuse of the website. If arbitration is not enforceable for a particular claim, that claim must be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York.

Termination and Enforcement

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to the website at any time, with or without notice. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver. If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect, and the unenforceable provision will be interpreted to provide the maximum lawful protection.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional terms expressly posted for a feature or accepted in a separate written agreement, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding website use. These Terms do not replace any separate service agreement between you and TaxBowl.
